I have extensive experience in the commercial photography of high end fashion accessories brands including Coach, Tommy Hilfiger and David Yurman and for high end department stores such as Lord and Taylor, Talbots and Belk. I have taken the high-end photographic aesthetic used in that arena and applied the same lighting techniques to photograph jewelry made by small independent designers here in New York. Also shown are samples from a collection of antique hand blown glass bottles painstakingly excavated from the New York City area. These bottles recall days when the hand had much more of a role in the mass production of goods than in our modern age.
